We recently had the pleasure of a visit to our Tampa showroom from a long-time friend and customer. We're always so impressed by the attention to detail and manufacturing excellence at both plants.
Every time we tour the Jeld-Wen and PGT plants, one point always comes through -- these are Florida made products for use in Tropical climates. Virtually all of their products carry the Miami-Dade wind rating, and other relevant features like stainless hardware and aluminum reinforcement. At Jeld-Wen, we reviewed the Premium Atlantic Vinyl series with ImpactGard glass. Our customer was impressed by the concept of being able to get windows and doors of this quality for a very reasonable price. At PGT, we reviewed the WinGuard impact glass products. We were particularly impressed by the series 750 French Doors and the 780 Sliding Doors, both of which are available with their simulated wood grain Eterna finish.
